Mr. Jeff Bryant
My Name is Jeff Bryant, and I am incredibly proud to be serving the Jefferson school community as Principal during the 2022-23 school year. I started at West Aurora School District 129 in 2005. During that time I have been a 7th grade Social Studies teacher, Student Service Specialist, and Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning. My wife and I have three wonderful children, Nolan, Cora and Jonah.
Ms. Shelley ramos
My name is Shelley Ramos and I am the Assistant Principal of Teaching and Learning at Jefferson Middle School. I started my educational career off as a Learning Behavioral Specialist at Nicholson Elementary. I have also worked as Dean of Student Services at West Aurora High School and Assistant Principal at Freeman Elementary.
On a personal note, I have been married for 26 years to my husband Chris. We have 3 children, Brittany, Brandon, and Matthew. We enjoy hiking and getting the opportunity to visit new places. I am excited about the upcoming school year.
I am looking forward to working with teachers, students and our Jefferson families.
Mr. Elroy phillips
I started in West Aurora School District 129 in 2001. Previously I was the Dean of Students at Jewel Middle School and the Principal of the Blackhawk Academy.
Currently I am the Assistant Principal of Operations at Jefferson Middle School.
Ms. jackie waldvogel
I am very proud to be a part of the Jefferson J-Hawk family and truly enjoy the opportunity to serve, support, and grow alongside the students and staff of this wonderful school community.
Prior to serving as dean of students, I worked as the district’s private day/parochial coordinator. My duties included conducting staff performance evaluations and professional development training, as well as coordinating student annual reviews. I began my educational career in East Aurora School District 131 in a similar role.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in communication and psychology from Northeastern Illinois University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Adler School of Professional Psychology, and a Master of Arts in educational leadership from Aurora University.
